The Trade

In this past basketball offseason, one of the biggest trades for the 2017 basketball offseason was made. Cavaliers’ star Kyrie Irving was traded to the Boston Celtics for Celtics’ star Isaiah Thomas, and players Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic, and the Number One 2018 draft pick, yet to be chosen.
This past year Kyrie’s stats were amazing, averaging 25 points per game. He also averaged 6 assists per game, and shot 40% from the 3- point line.
On the other hand, Isaiah Thomas’s stats were through the roof! He averaged 29 points per game while shooting 37% from the 3-point line. Thomas also averaged 6 rebounds, and for a guy who’s 5’9, that’s pretty good.
