I, being a Chichester student, think we should have a longer lunch period. First, I’m personally used to having to eat too quickly. Then, that bad habit of eating too fast follows me home. That is extremely unhealthful in and of itself. Next, there are studies that show that shorter lunches result in kids eating fewer fruits and vegetables. Third of all, when the lines are longer on more popular lunches it is very likely that we will only have less than ten minutes to eat. That means kids don't have the time to finish their meals. That leads to kids having less energy and brain power and doing worse in school. Chichester is already a great school, imagine how adding 10 to 15 more minutes to our lunch period could help us excel even more here at CCS. Please consider my thoughts and ideas about this serious problem and thank you for reading this. Have a good rest of your day!
