           Have ‘O-LAF’ in 2016
S’No Joke! The Rams Record is sponsoring a January “joke-a-thon”! Read on to Learn how to earn a dunkin’ donuts gift card for tickling your funny bone!

Howdy, Y’all! Welcome to 2016.  One of my New Year’s Resolutions is to share fun and laughter with others every single day! In the spirit of fun and frivolity, I created the Bulletin Board above.  In the arctic-blue folder are Joke slips that look like this:
12873504774_8a76af4114_b.jpgSNOW JOKE! Have ‘OLAF’ in 2016!

Your Name:_______________________________
Your Teacher/Grade or Class: _______________; My JOKE The Punch line is on the back!
Write a joke on the front and the punch line, if there is one, on back. Place the slip, or slips if you wish to contribute several jokes throughout the month,  in the folder’s left pocket below the snow flake labelled “Insert jokes here”.  My Rams Record editors and I will read each joke and display them on the bulletin board for at least 2 days to give folks a chance to enjoy them, before replacing them with new jokes. Simultaneously, the jokes will be shared on the Rams Blog. Now...here’s where it get’s interesting for those who love Dunkin’ Donuts!
Jokes will be accepted and displayed through January 31, 2016. On the last day, all jokes that were submitted will be placed in a large bag. One will be drawn and the lucky jokester will earn a Dunkin’ Donuts gift card.

Do not fret, dear donut lovers, if you are not able to submit a joke, because you can earn a Dunkin’ Donuts gift card, just for READING each joke throughout the month, either on the Bulletin Board or on the Rams Record Blog. There will be a Quiz at the end of the month. Jokes will be printed from among those displayed. Write the punch lines to prove you participated in the “Have ‘Olaf’ in 2016”  Jokeathon. All correct quizzes will be entered in a Dunkin’s drawing as well!
Happy New Year of Laughter and Joy,
Mrs. Audet ;)

Generous People of New Hampshire

Thank you to those who gave to people in need this holiday season. Whether you donated toys, dropped money in the Salvation Army kettle or sent in canned goods to CCS you made a big difference. But don't forget that people need help in the New Year too. Some kids don’t have their mom or dad home because they are in the military overseas in a different country. Some other families need help from those who can give food, clothing or school supplies. Please think about how you can help your community. There are lots of ways you can contribute, like donating food to the Food Pantry or a nearby food drive. The Salvation Army and Goodwill are open all through the year for donations. It’s easy to get busy after the holidays, but people need help all through the year. So don’t just walk or drive by. Give however you can to the needy.  Give them hope and joy.
