Belgian Waffles

Ingredients
|
2 cups of all purpose flour
|
¾ cup of sugar
|
3 ½ teaspoon baking powder
|
2 large eggs (separated)
|
1 ½ cup whole milk
|
1 cup butter (melted)
|
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
|
Sliced fresh strawberries or syrup
|
Instructions:
|
In bowl #1 combine flour, sugar, and baking powder
|
In bowl #2 lightly beat egg yolks
|
In bowl #2 also add milk, butter, and vanilla.
|
Stir the contents of bowl #2 into dry ingredients in bowl #1. Mix well.
|
Beat egg whites until stiff peak forms
|
Fold into batter
|
Bake on a waffle iron
|
Afterward, top with strawberries or syrup or anything you would like to put on your waffle.
