                                              Electronics in Class
                                                       By: Emma, Rams Editor

Haven't you ever wanted to bring electronics into class? Well, I have. Did you know it can help you learn? It can! On any device you can install an app called IXL. It can improve your grades. You are probably wondering why. So, on that app there is every subject you can ever imagine! If you practice every subject for 10 or 20 minutes each, your grades will improve.
Maybe when it’s recess you can ask your teacher if you can use your electronic device. A lot of kids get bored during recess without their electronics. However, there is a rule that electronics are allowed in school. So instead of playing Foursquare or Jenga you can play Minecraft on your phone once in a while!
But don't get too tempted at every recess. You need to give your brain some exercise. When you do, your brain takes in oxygen which helps you to think better. So when it’s outdoor recess make sure to play outside.
Just in case you think digital devices are just for kids, they’re not. Did you know that your electronic can help your teacher? It can! When your teacher needs a calculator in class you can let your teacher borrow your ED (electronic device) .On every ED you get there is a calculator app. If your teacher does not have a clock in the room or does not have a phone and you do have a phone on you , you can tell her/him the time.
If you find some cool, educational games or apps, you should share those with your teachers. They will thank you and you’ll be able to benefit by being allowed to use the apps in school.
Well now do you get me? There are so many reasons why you should bring electronics into classrooms. Take care not to fool around though. While devices are allowed NOW, you might lose the privilege if you fool around with them instead of using them as tools!

(This is part 2 of the article that promised to help you discover problems that can affect your dog’s sleep. How do you think YOUR DOG sleeps?)

Dogs Lie Awake At Night Thinking About Their Problems Too

Brooke D. Rams Editor
Scientists say that experiencing a positive or negative problem can affect your dog's sleep. That is true, a positive experience for a dog is getting patted and playing fetch. If they had a good experience, dogs will sleep 20 minutes longer than a dog that had a negative experience. A negative experience is considered to be a dog being left at home all day or being tied up to a door. This will cause the dog to not be able to sleep well. It causes stress for them and they are more likely to wake up in the middle of the night. It is very important to show some love to the pets, so make sure you do!

Jellyfish
by Grace, staff editor
Jellyfish are beautiful creatures. They are also dangerous. There are many different types of jellyfish. Some jellyfish are invisible, some glow in the dark or are very small. Not many jellyfish are deadly.
Did you know there are 23 jellyfish stings in 5 seconds. So there are 46 stings in 10 seconds. That means 92 stings in 20 seconds. That’s a lot of stings.
Jellyfish have been alive forever. I don’t mean one hundred years ago. I don’t even mean a couple thousand years ago. I mean since before dinosaurs. I mean forever.
Some jellyfish are immortal, they can grow younger. When they are threatened the go back to the stage where they grip the bottom of the sea. These jellyfish live can live forever.
A group of jellies is called a bloom. These blooms are not like flower blooms. A bloom can be dangerous if it is big.
When jellyfish wash up on shore they die. Sometimes people step in them. Though they are dead their stingers still work. So people still get stung.
Jellyfish don’t think of what they’re doing. They don’t think where they want to go or who they want to sting; they just do it. Jellies also can’t feel. They don’t feel sad when their children go away. They don’t feel happy when they catch their food. Jellyfish are just floating blobs in the ocean.

Jellyfish can't feel anything. They don’t care when they sting you. They can barely even feel anything! They don’t have a brain or heart.
